Kia's Soul rocks the chapel

Kia winds up Sydney's Live at the Chapel series with a bang in December

Melbourne band Jet played the windup gig at the Kia Soul Live at the Chapel series in Sydney in front of an intimate audience in Paddington this month.

About 200 people, including celebrities and media personalities, attended the invitation-only event.

Kia Soul Live at the Chapel, which was relocated from Melbourne in 2009, is aimed at "presenting absolutely unique live music experiences" in a cosy, close-to-the-action environment.

The 2009 series returned to TV and radio in its new Sydney home during the year and, according to Kia, featured "some of the world's best music performers."

Other artists appearing at the venue during the year included Lady Gaga in May, Australian Jessica Mauboy in July, US band All-American Rejects in August and Grammy Award winner John Mayer in November.

The final 2009 event will be aired on Channel Seven at 10 am on Sunday January 10 2010, and on Channel (V) at 5 pm on Saturday February 6 2010.
