Kiathon sales marathon launches

Kia's new company-owned Australian operation has launched its first nationwide sales campaign

Kia Motors Australia has launched the brand’s first national sales campaign. Dubbed 'Kiathon', the campaign will be leveraged across the brand's 119-strong Australian dealer network and feature what the company claims is its most comprehensive national advertising and promotional package ever.

Kia says it will target city locations with 'ambient theatre'. Kia promotional staff will man drinks stations "rewarding consumers racing about their daily business with an ice-cold drink and Kia water bottle."

Just the thing for Melbourne, Hobart and Adelaide this time of year... Brrrr!!!!

Consumers will also be targeted with product information and the chance to win $2000 worth of fuel.

The theatre will also include promotional runners pursued by 'coaches' in Kiathon support vehicles spruiking tips on how to get the best Kia deals during Kiathon.

The campaign will be supported with radio and other electronic media.
