Lamborghini Huracan now even wilder

Flamboyant upgrade for baby Lambo ramps up the exotic with new retina-searing colour options

The 470kW V10-powered Lamborghini Huracan EVO supercar will soon be available with five new extroverted colour options as part of a new Fluo Capsule range.

Known for its striking, angular car designs, Lamborghini is now underlining the eye-catching Huracan EVO’s styling with the following colours:

Verde Shock (green)
Arancio Livrea (orange)
Celeste Fedra (blue)
Arancio Dac (orange)
Giallo Clarus (yellow)

The attention-grabbing colours will be offered with the 2021 model-year Lamborghini Huracan EVO and provide extra eye candy via the fitment of several significant matte black elements, including the roof, parts of the front bumper and side skirts.

The bold new colours are also applied in fine detail, such as stripes on the exterior wing mirrors and vertical lines on the rear splitter.

The Verde Shock green paint almost glows in the dark!

In its press release, Lambo says the Lamborghini Huracan EVO Fluo Capsule collection delivers “a highly technical interplay of contrasts, unlocking the expression of those who dare to be different in a young and stylish piece of street art”.

The interior of the Fluo Capsule cars also gets colour-matched Lamborghini logos on the seat head restraints and engine start button. There are also new optional sports seats that offer more support than the standard comfort seats, and can be finished in Alcantara or leather unicolor with an EVO sportivo trim.

Lamborghini Huracan Evo track test

Powered by a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated mid-mounted V10 engine (470kW/600Nm), the Huracan EVO drives all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Acceleration is rapid, taking just 2.9 seconds to dispatch the 0-100km/h benchmark sprint, with a top speed of 325km/h.

Lamborghini is yet to confirm pricing for the Fluo Capsule collection models, but they’ll almost certainly cost more than the standard Huracan EVO, which starts at $459,441 plus on-road costs.

The Lamborghini Huracan product portfolio has grown significantly since it was first introduced in 2014, with rear-drive, all-wheel drive, convertible and top-spec Performante models now available.
