Land Rover Discovery notches up 25 years

Enhancements available to order for iconic off-roader during its quarter century anniversary
Land Rover has announced a range of optional features first seen on the XXV Special Edition model for the Discovery's 25th anniversary this year.
Buyers ordering the 2015 model year Discovery can select the features, which include Ebony/Cirrus dual-tone Windsor Leather seats combined with a Grand Black Lacquer wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel, or combined with a Straight Grained Walnut wood wheel. Wood veneers to suit either combination are also available.
Outside, the Discovery can be enhanced with unique 20-inch alloy wheels in five-spoke design (with split spokes) and four new colours – Aruba, Kaikoura Stone and Montalcino Red, with Yulong premium metallic white available later.
"To mark 25 years of Discovery, Land Rover offered more premium luxury in the form of the XXV Special Edition. Striking attributes from this anniversary derivative are now being made available across the range for our customers to bring that level of heightened luxury into their Discovery of choice," said Phil Popham, Jaguar Land Rover Group Marketing Director.
Pricing and specifications the 2015 model year Discovery are to be disclosed shortly, according to Jaguar Land Rover. Local delivery is anticipated to commence from November.
