Lavish car fest returns to Queensland

Annual Concours d’Elegance returns to Noosa for a ritzy event you won’t want to miss – even if you don’t like cars

One of the most boujee car events in the country is set to return to Noosa this July, boasting ultra-rare automobiles, luxury dining experiences, and even a live painting exhibition.

That means that even those less fascinated by cars and more interested in the finer things in life are bound to enjoy themselves too.

Back for its second year, the Noosa Concours d’Elegance will return to the popular tourism hotspot, with the promise of an even better version of last year’s inaugural event, including a display of more than 80 rare and iconic vehicles from prestige manufacturers.

Of those, punters can expect a Lamborghini Miura SV and Ferrari LM250, as well as a collection of Porsche Speedsters, and a Mercedes-Benz 300SL as part of the Max Hoffman exhibit.

Elsewhere, a McLaren F1 will also make an appearance, as one of just 106 examples ever built by the luxury British car-maker.

Meanwhile, an array of ‘renowned judges and esteemed personalities’ are also expected, along with a range of experiences, from private dinners and degustations at Sails Noosa as well as a St Hugo luncheon at Miss Moneypenny’s, the latter of which includes a three-course lunch paired with exclusive wines from the St Hugo portfolio, some of which were made in collaboration with Aussie F1 racer Daniel Ricciardo.

For those more interested in the arts, a live painting exhibition and historic jewellery trunk show will also feature.

The event will be held on Saturday July 13 from 10:30am to 5.00pm on Hastings Street, Noosa, about two hours north of Brisbane CBD.

Entry is free for attendees, however, some events are ticketed. For more information, visit the Noosa Concours d’Elegance site.
