Leapmotor is entering the budget performance realm with a new special edition C10 packing more power than a Tesla Model Y Performance for less than $54,000. It’s called the C10 AWD Sports+ Special Edition and it’s arriving next month from $53,888 plus on-road costs.

The first dual-motor C10 variant to be confirmed for our market, the AWD Sports+ Special Edition packs more power than an MG4 X-Power, Model Y Performance, Ford Mustang Mech-E GT, Zeekr 7X Performance AWD and a pre-update Kia EV6 GT.
That said, 0-100km/h takes four seconds flat thanks to all-wheel drive – slower than all the above options.
The performance model also ups the ante with an 800-volt electrical architecture and a swollen 81.9kWh battery which contribute to the performance as well as elevated 180kW DC fast charging capabilities (30-80% in 22 mins) and the 437km range.

Equipment highlights include a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, a 14.6-inch touchscreen, 20-inch alloy wheels, wireless phone charger, a 12-speaker audio system, panoramic roof, interior ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, powered tailgate, heated, ventilated and power-adjustable front seats, heated steering wheels, over the air updates and silicone leather upholstery.
The AWD Sports+ Special Edition can be marked apart from its lesser brethren by its ‘Sports+’ side decals, while the interior is spruced up via red-stitched floor and cargo mats.
Black and white are the only two colours available.

The 2026 Leapmotor C10 AWD Sports+ Special Edition will arrive in showrooms next month covered by the same six-year/150,000km warranty (eight years/160,000km battery) as the standard C10s.
