Frame by frame, Lexus is rolling out preview details of a new concept car (coupe?) to be unveiled at next month’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Following an image forwarded to the press last week that showed a section of a radical-looking front wing, this week Toyota’s luxury offshoot moved to the concept’s interior, where similar flowing themes (and body colour) prevail on the centre console and doors.
Lexus hasn’t told us yet the configuration of the concept, but the tapering roofline evident in the latest image clearly spells “coupe”. The chunky steering wheel looks appropriate for a sporty concept too.
The company says the concept, which was designed at its Calty design studio in Newport Beach, California, will introduce its new “contemporary, upscale and uniquely Lexus design direction.”
