Lexus IS pricing reduced
Luxury Japanese manufacturer takes advantage of FTA changesLexus announced in February that it will reduce prices across its range as a result of the Australia-Japan free trade agreement, but at the time it did not provide model-by-model prices, saying only that price reductions ranged between $2000 for the CT 200h $8600 saving for the LS limousine.
Now automotive pricing data specialist RedBook.com.au now has provided full pricing details for the IS sedan range, traditionally a sales leader for Lexus and currently its second most popular model behind the NS crossover.
Lexus has reduced IS 250 pricing by up to $4700. The entry-level Luxury is now $54,000 plus on-road costs (down from $56,500), the mid-spec Sport $62,000 (down $3500) and the top-end Sports Luxury $74,000 (reduced by $4700).
Stepping up to the IS 300h hybrid variant now requires a $57,000 outlay for the Luxury model (down $2500), with the Sport spec pegged at $65,000 (down $3900).
The flagship IS 350 commences at $62,000 for Luxury (down $3400), with Sport at $70,000 ($3600 lower) and finally Sports Luxury at $82,000 (a $2800 reduction).
