Following the unveiling of its LF-Gh concept model (pictured) at recent motor shows, including this month's Australian International Motor Show in Melbourne, Lexus has confirmed its all-new GS will make its much anticipated debut at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance next month.
Said to be based heavily on the styling shown in the LF-Gh concept, the fourth-generation GS 350 luxury sport sedan will grace the esteemed show on August 18, introducing what Lexus say is a "more defined and emotional design philosophy". The new car will also feature a newly shaped front grille and pointed fascia design that will become the new corporate face of the brand.
Toyota's luxury arm also says the new GS will offer a more engaging and dynamic driving experience than its predecessor.
"GS has always symbolised the beginning of something new for Lexus, from the debut of the first iteration of 'L finesse' design to its innovative hybrid driveline," said Lexus Australia chief executive, Tony Cramb.
"The entirely new GS has been designed to engage all the senses, offering an all-new design, innovative on-board technology and enjoyable driving dynamics.
"Judging by the reaction Lexus Australia had to the recent showing of the LF-Gh concept, new GS will definitely be worth the wait."
