Lexus Australia has released two limited-edition versions of its mid-size IS sedan, which will be replaced by an all-new model in about six months.
Both the IS 250X and IS 350X come with a range of free extra features, including five-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear lip spoiler, smart card key, sports pedals, aluminium scuff plates, six-head parking sensors and ‘X’ badging.
In addition, both models offer satellite-navigation, a reversing camera and HID headlights with daytime running lamps – all of which are standard on all IS 350 models – equating to $9290 of additional specification for IS 350X buyers and $3840 worth of extra features for IS 350 customers.
Both X models will also be available with an exclusive red perforated semi-aniline leather-accented interior with red stitching, matched with the choice of five metallic exterior paint colours – White Pearl Mica, Silver, Mercury Grey, Starlight Black Glass Flake and Vermillion Red Mica.
The IS 250X is priced at $58,990 drive-away ($3190 more than the list price of the entry-level IS 250 Prestige sedan), while the IS 350X costs $64,990 drive-away – $690 more than the regular IS 350 Prestige.
The IS X specials are available until March 31 and come with Lexus’ generous four-year, 100,000km warranty and access to the Japanese luxury brand’s Encore and Drivecare after-sales programs.
