Subaru is offering buyers a batch of the Forester X with added equipment for just $990 above the manufacturer's list price for the standard car.
Only 900 units are being built and all feature factory-fitted satellite navigation -- normally priced at $2500 as an option on higher-grade Forester variants, but not usually available in the base-grade Forester X.
Along with the satnav, the limited edition Forester X comes equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and a reversing camera. Subaru plans to sell the cars with the choice of five-speed manual transmission or the optional four-speed automatic. Price of the manual variant is $31,980.
