Limited Edition Outlander gets Activ

Mitsubishi has released a limited edition Outlander in time for the summer holidays...

Mitsubishi Motors has released a limited edition Outlander which it says incorporates "a host of desirable features for the coming summer period."

Dubbed the Outlander Activ, the variant is based on the LS model but gets sports roof rack cross bars, a six-CD in-dash stacker and alloy nudge bar as well as “Activ” decals and a $500 fuel voucher.

According to Mitsubishi, the extras add up to over $2000 of additional value and makes the Activ: "an ideal vehicle for summer touring."

The extras are offered at no change to RRP.

The Outlander is powered by a 2.4-litre MIVEC SOHC four-cylinder rated at 120kW and 220Nm. Coupled to a four-speed ‘Smart Logic’ automatic with ‘Sports Mode’ sequential shifting capability, drive is put to the ground via what Mitsubishi describes as: "a Lancer Evolution-derived full-time four-wheel drive system."

With standard features including dual airbags, power steering, power windows, power external mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning, full instrumentation, four-speaker audio system, two-speed windscreen wipers with speed sensitive intermittent function and rear windscreen wiper with intermittent function, the Outlander Activ is priced at $32,490.
