The new Lotus Evora 400 is not only over two thirds all-new, but it is also the most powerful production car that Lotus has ever made.
Featuring a completely new chassis and a significantly revised lightweight composite body front and rear, the Evora 400 is also now easier to live with day-to-day, with easier cabin entry and exit thanks to ergonomic refinements.
At the heart of the new Evora 400 is a supercharged and charge-cooled 3.5-litre V6 borrowed from Toyota, with power raised from the previous 257kW to 298kW. Peak torque has also been increased to 410Nm from the previous model.
The Evora 400 is also 42kg lighter than the previous model, thanks to the new chassis and front and rear body.
A more involving, sharper and more focused driving experience comes courtesy of a new Limited Slip Differential (LSD), and the car now produces an impressive 32kg of downforce at 242km/h (150mph).
