Lotus has teased pictures and a short vid for what's likely to be the fastest ever Evora.
Teasing a picture of the rear clamshell that features a new air vents, wider wheels and the same uprated AP Racing brake package from the Evora 400, the giveaway that this is no Elise is a new carbon-fibre rear bumper and diffuser that's unmistakably used on the latest Evora 400.
And for more proof, check out the single draped image of the car that clearly looks Evora-shaped, albeit fitted with the huge rear wing lifted from the Evora GT4 racer.
All will be unveiled later today (July 20) when the small British sports car maker will take the drapes off, what's primed to be one of the fastest cars it's ever made.

Set to use Lotus well-credentialled Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre supercharged V6, the extreme Evora will almost certainly produce more than the Evora 400's 298kW/410Nm.
Weight-saving will also be a key part of unlocking performance, although it's not known how much engineers will have been able to carve off the already light 1400kg kerb weight.
Like the Evora 400 a choice of conventional six-speed manual or six-speed automatic will be offered.
Stay tuned for the reveal of what could be the fastest ever Lotus this side of F1.
