A fresh new tease of the Lotus Type 130 hypercar has surfaced online ahead of its official debut at a VIP event in London on July 16.
The short vid posted over the weekend features our first glimpse of a tiny part of the real car following the small Geely-owned British sports car-maker issued a mysterious arty tease back in April.
The latest tease doesn't exactly reveal much, beginning with a plaque mounted on carbon-fibre that reads "Hand Built in Britain By Lotus".
The camera then moves to show off what's thought to be the rear-mounted cover for the charging point. The edges of the rear tail lamps also star, flanking what could be illuminated 'LOTUS' lettering.
Despite the latest tease, Lotus hasn't been prepared to reveal any more of the car it has already referred to as its "most dynamically accomplished road car".
Rumoured to roughly measure in at the same 4350mm as the current Evora but stretch to nearly 2000mm wide, the Lotus hypercar is said to produce around 750kW.
Thanks to at least two electric motors, the Type 130 will also have all-wheel drive with a battery powerful enough to provide for a range of more than 400km.
Speaking of batteries, Lotus has already hinted that the power pack maybe be interchangeable, allowing owners to quickly swap them when indulging in track days to prevent lengthy charging times ruining their enjoyment.
Acceleration should be in another league to any car previously produced from the Hethel, Norfolk-based outfit, with a 0-100km/h time expected to be less than 2.0 seconds.
Top speed, meanwhile, should be north of 350km/h to fully cement its hypercar status.
Lotus has already announced that the battery-powered Type 130 is in the "late stages of development" with deliveries set to begin in 2020 for the limited run of 130 cars Lotus plans to make.
