These images of the BMW's all-new M6 Cabriolet, snapped just nine months after we last received happy snaps of the car at Germany's famed Nurburgring, show the R8-fighter as it will appear in Euro showrooms in a few short months.
Caught hot weather testing in the US, the car is equipped with BMW's state-of-the-art 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, M6 Cabbie rumoured to develop close to 580 horses (over 430kW). Riding on 20-inch alloys the drop-top cruiser will share most of its underpinnings with the M6 Coupe, albeit with a little more structural bracing.
It's the third time our snappers have caught the M6 Cabriolet out in the open, the lack of paisley doing little to cover flared front guards and muted body kit.
With timing for Europe almost a guarantee, the smart money says we should see the beast arrive Down Under in H1 2012. Expect the price tag to nudge $300K.
