An upgrade 2020 Mahindra PikUp ute range has been revealed with a slightly updated look, more technology and a price increase to match.
New gear includes a reshaped grille that now looks even more Jeep-esque than before, as well as contemporary static bending projection headlights, LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and a new fog light assembly.
Pricing for the MY2020 PikUp range now begins at $23,990 drive away (+$2000) in single-cab 4x2 S6+ form, while the most expensive option is a 4x4 single-cab S6+ fitted with a ‘Pastoral Pack’ – priced at $35,990 drive-away.
The Pastoral Pack is a new option for 2020 and can be added to 4x4 single-cab PikUp variants. According to the Indian manufacturer, it brings extra gear to suit rural, trade and fleet buyers.
This includes a winch-compatible steel bull bar with a bash plate, side brush rails, snorkel, tow bar, canvas seat covers and a vinyl floor.
Every Mahindra PikUp variant continues to be powered by a 103kW/320Nm 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, paired exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission.
The brand also carries over its 34-degree approach angle, 1095kg payload and 2.5-tonne braked towing capacity, as well as a five-year/100,000km warranty with five years of roadside assist.
Four exterior colour options are available: Artic White, De-Sat Silver, Napoli Black and Red Rage.
