Maserati convertible coming Feb
The Australian importer of Maserati has confirmed that the GranCabrio convertible will make its local debut in Sydney, at the all-new Maserati dealershipPowered by a 4.7-litre V8 engine cranking out 323 kilowatts, the Maserati GranCarbio will be one of the most sought-after convertible cars in Australia when it arrives in Sydney on February 3.
The Italian drop top will make its Australian debut at the opening of Maserati Sydney, the newest dealership for the exotic marque, located in Waterloo.
First launched at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show on September 15, the GranCabrio is the convertible version of the GranTurismo sports car.
The new V8-powered GranCabrio luxury sports car will be on show at Maserati Sydney from February 3 2010, and as the General Manager of Maserati Australia explains, the dealership will set new standards.
"Our standard for Maserati in Sydney is quite simple -- to build a car dealership that can stand comparison with any car dealership in the world," says Edward Butler, GM for Maserati in Australia and New Zealand.
"Therefore no expense has been spared to ensure that Maserati customers will be able to enjoy a facility that exceeds expectations in every area and which provides a unique experience. We are honoured that Maserati are dispatching their newest model, a car yet to be seen outside the confines of two motor shows, to be our guest of honour at the official opening on 3 February at what I am sure will be an evening to remember!"
For the 'Maseratista' who want to see the new model, Maserati Sydney is located at the junction of Bourke and Elizabeth Streets in Waterloo.
