The sumptuous new Maserati Levante Zegna Edition has been revealed and confirmed for release in Australia, where just seven examples of the large Italian luxury SUV will become available from December.
Each will be priced at $170,000 plus on-road costs — $25,000 more than the petrol V6-powered Levante GranSport ($144,990 plus ORCs) on which it’s based and $10K less than the more powerful Levante S models (from $165K).
The Maserati Levante range continues to open at $129,990 and will be topped by V8-powered GTS ($265K) and Trofeo ($330K) models, which won’t arrive until January.
Not to be confused with the swansong Maserati GranTurismo Zeda, the Maserati Levante Zegna represents the latest collaboration between the trident brand and bespoke tailor Ermenegildo Zegna Style Centre, following Zegna editions of the Ghibli and Quattroporte.
But this time the two Italian companies have produced a unique exterior and interior, where the Levante Zegna features PELLETESSUTA leather for the first time, featuring three-dimensional woven strips of hide on the seats, dashboard and door panels.

Other interior features include black Pieno Fiore highlights, Bowers & Wilkins audio and a Driver Assistance Package including autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.
Outside, the Levante Zegna Edition adds unique Bronzo exterior tri-coat paint and Zegna badging on its B-pillars, 21-inch Helios alloy wheels and black brake callipers.
“The Levante Zegna Edition is proof that attention to detail and visionary innovation can create beautiful design,” said Maserati Australia and New Zealand COO Glen Sealey.
“Through the longstanding partnership between Zegna and Maserati, we are the only automotive company to bring this ground-breaking PELLETESSUTA interior to market, and we’re delighted to have secured just seven of these models from such a limited global run.”
