Mazda has confirmed its Nissan Murano/Lexus RX330 challenger CX-7 for Australia.
The mid-size luxury SUV won't be here until 2007, but Mazda will give potential buyers something to get excited about when it shows its MX-Crossport concept at February's Melbourne motor show. The concept -- first seen at this year's Detroit motor show and just shown at the Tokyo show -- is said to provide strong clues to how the production CX-7 will look.
Word is, that rather than supersede the Tribute, the CX-7 will sell alongside it here, becoming Mazda's flagship SUV.
