Mazda2 competition too good to lose

The Carsales Network and Channel Nine's The Car Show are offering viewers the opportunity to win a brand new Mazda2.

The new Mazda2 uses a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine, engineered to meet Euro IV emissions regulations and offered with either five-speed manual or four-speed auto options.

The three-model range includes air-conditioning, power windows and mirrors, and MP-3 compatible CD player as standard. The Neo opener comes with front passenger airbags and 14-inch steel wheels, for under $17K. The Maxx mid-ranger adds 15-inch alloys, six-disc CD player with steering wheel-mounted audio controls and a rear spoiler.

The Carsales Network and The Car Show are giving away the range-topping 2 -- the Genki model -- with automatic transmission. The five-door hatch is valued at $25,237, and it will be offered in 'Aurora Blue' mica exterior colour -- as pictured.

The Genki boasts upgraded interior trim, 16-inch alloys, six airbags, leather-trimmed steering wheel and front fog lights.

The lucky winner will also receive a set of Yokohama S Drive Series Tyres (valued at $1020), 12 months' insurance with Shannons (valued at $990) and two pairs of Serengeti sunglasses (valued at $800).

Entrants are also eligible to win a Navigon 2150max GPS System from Navigation Solutions valued at $449, and two pairs of Serengeti Sunglasses. The runner's up prize is valued at $1249.
