McLaren has announced it will soon offer a new Track Pack for the 570S.
Costing a mighty £16,500 ($A27,500) in the UK, where it has been launched, the new Track Pack brings weight-savings and tweaks to the car's standard aero package to make the Sport Series Macca even quicker on track.
Power and torque from the 419kW/600Nm 3.8-litre turbocharged V8 is unchanged from the regular 570S, but the aero changes involve a new taller new rear wing that now extends 12mm higher than the standard car's. This small-sounding change is claimed to add a further 29kg of downforce at speeds of 250km/h.
Inside, the Track Pack switches leather for lightweight Alcantara and swaps the 570S sport seats for two new carbon-fibre near-competition-ready carbon-fibre race seats.

The weight-savings are completed by the addition of new ultra-lightweight alloy wheels.
In total, the British supercar-maker claims 25kg is carved off the 570S' 1313kg kerb weight.
Performance improves but not to 100km/h - the Track Pack'd 570S still takes the same 3.2 seconds but now pushes on to 200km/h. Incredibly, McLaren claims the lighter 570S takes 9.4 seconds to hit 200 -- a tenth of a second quicker and exactly the same time as the 675LT.
Helping you monitor the improvements from adding the Track Pack to your 570S, the British Audi R8 rival comes with the same on-board Track Telemetry system that the P1 hypercar and 675LT come with.
The software is sophisticated enough to not only record lap and sector times but also make comparisons with other drivers who have posted their times on the same circuit.
McLaren says the first Track Pack-equipped 570S will be available from early 2017. It's not yet known how much the circuit-friendly option will cost to option on Australian cars.
