McLaren MSO - the brand's special operations unit - has unveiled three bespoke 570S coupes and three 570S Spiders at a special event held in the US.
Created for an LA-based McLaren dealer, each of the six special 570S supercars were created around the theme 'Racing Through the Ages'.
New bits? Both coupe and Spiders come with a dealer-fit rear wing, GT4 racing stripe on the bonnet and roof and special MSO designed 10-spoke ultra-lightweight wheels.
Under the rear bonnet the 419kW/600Nm twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 remains untouched but has had the standard exhaust swapped for the louder MSO SuperSports pipes.
Inside, the same GT4 stripe on the exterior is embroidered on the seats while the MSO logo is stitched into the headrests, the steering wheels and there's also a hand-stitched orange 12 o'clock mark for good measure.
Finally, each car has a plaque declaring that each car is '1 of 6 Racing Through the Ages' limited run McLaren MSO cars.
Helping distinguish the special MSO batch of McLarens, each pair of 570Ss come painted in a unique colour.
The first pair are painted in what's described as Muriwai White -- a colour inspired by the white and blue waves that crash-in on Muriwai Beach in New Zealand where Bruce McLaren raced for the first time, aged 15.
Muriwai also recounts the founder's house he built in Working, in the UK, painted white with blue shutters.
Finishing off the first coupe and 570S Spider, the large rear wing endplates carry McLaren's famous Orange Kiwi logo.
The next couple of McLarens are painted a more familiar shade for motorsport fans as they both share the same 'Papaya Spark' orange hue as the race teams' famous Can-Am, Indy 500 and Formula 1 racers that did battle during the 1960s and '70s.
Instead of a Kiwi, the two Papaya Spark cars' rear wings are finished in Burton Blue -- the exact same colour as the iconic blue spoiler used on McLaren's original race cars.
Another colour that should need no introduction is the final 570S coupe and Spider that come painted in Sarthe Grey.
Paying tribute to the legendary McLaren F1 GTR that won the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1995, the two 570Ss are not only painted in the same shade of grey as the winning car but also feature '24 Heures Du Mans - Winners 1995' in white lettering on the rear wing endplate.
It's not been revealed how much more the special MSO custom creations cost to build over the equivalent 570S that is priced from $379,000 (plus on-road costs) in Australia.
