The Finer Details

The CLA 200 Shooting Brake uses a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. It drives the front wheels and produces 120kW and 250Nm.

Mercedes-Benz claims combined fuel consumption of 5.4L/100km. The hybrid system can also drive the vehicle on electric power at urban speeds when less than 20kW is required.

Its 800-volt electrical architecture supports DC fast charging at up to 320kW under optimal conditions, while AC charging is available at up to 22kW. Claimed WLTP range is up to 511km, depending on specification.
