Mercedes-Benz teases GLC Coupe

Robotic arm dangles as-yet-unseen coupe version of the GLC ahead of Geneva motor show unveil

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed a GLC Coupe is in development by publishing a picture of the fastback SUV being manhandled by a robotic arm along its production line.

Set to be unveiled officially at the Geneva motor show in March, the production car is expected to be closely related to the GLC Coupe concept that was revealed at the Shanghai motor show.

That car was powered by a 270kW/520Nm 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol, although the production car is expected to come with the regular GLC’s range of four-cylinder petrol and diesels.

Expect more information on Mercedes’ BMW X4 rival following its Geneva reveal.
