Mercedes-Benz unveils latest model

Eva is A Class above the rest

She may not be a household name -- unless the household resides in Milan -- but Eva Padberg has been announced as a 'fashion ambassador' for Mercedes-Benz.

The German model will represent Benz at its inaugural Fashion Week Berlin in July and will be the face of the company for future fashion events around the globe.

In her previous work, she has formed associations with Chanel, Versace and Armani. With appearances on the covers of fashion magazines under her tiny little belt, Padberg has also featured in major advertising campaigns.

For the fashion week, she has been photographed alongside a Mercedes CL coupe by photographer Marc Trautmann, to accentuate the automotive affiliation.

The fashion week venue will be constructed adjacent the famous Brandenburg Gate in Berlin and the events will run from 12 to 15 July.

Organisers are looking forward to the week-long program becoming one of the high points of the year for fashion. From next year, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin will be held bi-annually, in January as well as July.
