German tuner Brabus has rolled out an even more powerful version of its XLP dual-cab pick-up that is based on the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP it launched in 2020.
The headline news of the new 2022 Brabus 900 XLP is it gets more power – 662kW, to be precise, and a monstrous 1250Nm of torque.
Liberating the extra ponies is a bored-out 4.5-litre twin-turbocharged version of the AMG-sourced V8 that gets a reworked exhaust and two larger turbos.
Now, thanks to the extra power, the Brabus 900 XLP can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4.4 seconds and top out at a tyre-limited 210km/h.
As well as the lengthened wheelbase and the addition of the rear bed, the new 5.3m-long (689mm longer than standard) 900 XLP gets huge 22-inch Brabus forged wheels and huge wheel-arch extenders.
As well as bigger wheels there's a high-lift kit that sees the Brabus pick-up feature up to 490mm of ground clearance.
There's also a 4.5-tonne winch if you ever venture off-road with a pick-up that costs an incredible €658,626 ($A990,000).
