MIMS: Rondo goes on sale in May

The Peugeot 308 Touring is the latest to head down that path (more here), with a third-row seat option, but Kia's Rondo will beat the French car to market by some months and offers seven seats as standard.
We earlier brought the Rondo to your attention when it went on display at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney (more here). Kia has announced that the replacement for the largely unlamented Carens will go on sale locally in May of this year.
"Kia has always been a brand that gives owners a little bit more, with outstanding value. At an entry price of just $24,990, this will be the best priced seven-seat vehicle in Australia," said Peter Nochar, Chief Operating Officer at Kia Motors Australia.
The car, which has been previewed in Sydney and at the Brisbane Motor Show earlier this month, will be on display at the Melbourne International Motor Show, which opens today.
