Mini facelift for MINI

With the new Countryman models out in the open, MINI is adopting the same design DNA across the range

The Mini range is about to be given a minor facelift, so that all models share the same family design as the recently released Countryman.

As the spy photos show, the Mini Cooper S sports a new look front apron, incorporating a redesigned lower valance that features more air-channels in the front fascia. These are likely to help cool the brakes, according to Carparazzi.

The new models to get the updated front end include the Mini Cooper hatch and convertible and Clubman models, which include the high performance 'S' models.

Expect parent company BMW to show off the new look Minis at the 2010 Paris motor show in September.
