Moroccan-born American car designer, Frank Stephenson, has announced he is releasing a new colouring-in book that features some of his most iconic car designs ever produced.
Stephenson, who is credited with both the design of the first BMW MINI, also went on to pen the reborn Fiat 500, Ferrari F430, Maserati MC12 and a whole host of McLarens, including the P1 hypercar.
Claimed to have been created for enthusiasts of all ages, the new colouring-in book is part of a collaboration with Fireball Tim Lawrence – the artist-cum-car-designer who creates cars for movies and is most famous for the Batmobile in Tim Burton's 1989 Batman.
Lawrence has also recently created colouring books for LA-based Porsche tuner Magnus Walker and Seinfeld comedy writer and podcaster Spike Feresten.
Commenting on his new lockdown tedium-relieving offering to car fans, Frank Stephenson said: "Who doesn’t remember drawing their favourite cars as a young child? Now with this, the next generation of petrol heads can nurture their passion, channel their inner artistry and colour some of the most iconic car designs from across my career."
To help encourage budding artists and future car designers in the making, Stephenson is launching the Colouring Book Challenge where readers are encouraged to show off their pieces of artwork on Instagram with the tag #FrankStephensonChallenge.
Stephenson will then pick his favourite colouring ins on his official YouTube channel.
The new colouring-in book is available to purchase on Amazon for $14.
