MINI Australia has confirmed a sporty limited-edition model will join its line-up in the coming weeks, based on the John Cooper Works hot hatch.
The MINI Millbrook Edition is priced from $57,725 (plus-on road costs), bringing a circa $5000 premium over its equivalent donor car.
The Millbrook lends the JCW added personalisation courtesy of specific styling and cosmetic finishes. Australian allocations are strictly limited to 20 vehicles.

First of all, the Millbrook Edition is adorned in a vintage ‘motorsport-inspired’ hue, known as Ice Blue. The paint scheme is matched by 17-inch black alloy wheels shod in performance rubber.
Additional driving lights and covers provide a nod to MINI’s rallying endeavours in the 1960, matched by black roof and mirror caps and a bonnet stripes.
MINI Australia says sun protection glazing and a sunroof that would usually be optional on the regular JCW are fitted standard in this guise.
Inside, the Millbrook’s seats wear ‘Lounge’ leather upholstery and employ seat heating.
Under the bonnet, the Millbrook is powered by a familiar 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol good for 170kW and 320Nm. It is matched standard by an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddles and a launch control function.
The manual gearbox fitted to the entry-level, $49,900 John Cooper Works is not available in Millbrook trim.
In specification terms, the Millbrook borrows from the JCW catalogue, with the following features as standard: 8.8-inch touchscreen control system with professional navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, head-up display, 12-speaker harman/kardon sound system, adaptive suspension, dual-zone climate control, LED headlights and tail lights and an Anthracite roof lining.
The new model is available to order now.
