The flagship of the local Hyundai range, the Grandeur, has been subtly revised for 2011. A new design of radiator grille is complemented by black bezels for the headlights and a black mesh insert for the engine-cooling duct in the front airdam; with the front fog lights restyled also.
Along the flanks, the Grandeur now features black piano finish for the B pillars and LED indicators in the side mirrors, which also incorporate new 'puddle' lights. The standard alloy wheels are a new seven-spoke design with a slot bifurcating each spoke. Tail lights are also revised, as is the bumper and the housing for the twin exhausts.
According to Hyundai, the exterior changes add 15mm to the Grandeuer's overall length, stretching the measurement to 4910mm.
In the cabin, the Grandeur's centre console is now trimmed in a metal finish. The indicator stalk is now of the two-stage/lane change type and Hyundai states that the Grandeur now comes with a "combined key and remote device for access and operation".
Prices are unchanged, with the 3.8-litre petrol V6 variant the entry-level model at $39,990* and the ask for the diesel Grandeur 2.2-litre CRDi $2000 higher, at $41,990*. The new Grandeur has already gone on sale from last week.
