Mitsubishi is after your custom with a new limited-edition Outlander dubbed ACTiV that stacks on additional features yet leaves money in your wallet with a tempting driveaway price starting at $33,990.
The ACTiV Outlander is dressed up with numerous visual identifiers including a "unique" chrome grille, alloy bull bar and roof rack cross bars, as well as front "fog" lamps and darkened privacy glass.
Step inside and you'll find a thumping, nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate sound system and standard Bluetooth functionality on top of the normal list of base Outlander equipment. This includes dual front airbags, trip computer and leather-rim steering wheel (with audio controls) and gearshift knob.
Outlander electronic safety equipment includes stability and traction control, anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution and Mitsubishi's Active Select 4WD system that allows the driver to supplement the usual front-drive function on the fly by bringing the rear wheels into action through the twist of a dial.
Offering a choice of five-speed manual or CVT transmission, the Outlander ACTiV is available now from Mitsubishi dealerships around the country. A limited supply of seven-seat ACTiV versions is available.
