Mitsubishi revives Pajero Platinum

Limited edition offroader back for an encore

The popular value-added Pajero Platinum is available once more through Mitsubishi dealers. For the 2010 model, the limited edition Pajero remains based on the GLX grade, with the added value afforded by privacy glass, body coloured door handles and mirrors, chrome radiator grille and silver roof rails.

In addition, the Pajero Platinum scores an 850-Watt Rockford Acoustic Design 12-speaker audio system, Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS) with voice-operated satnav (also featuring remote controls on the steering wheel), reversing camera and reverse parking sensors as standard.

Buyers may choose from either the 3.8-litre petrol V6 or the 3.2-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel. Both engines can be specified with either manual or automatic transmission.

"We are pleased to bring back the popular platinum edition of the Pajero. Four-wheel drive enthusiasts will appreciate its solid on and off-road power, as well as, the addition of a number of stylish and functional interior and exterior features as standard fitment," said Mitsubishi's Australian president, Masahiko Takahashi.
