The 2026 Mitsubishi Triton line-up has been revised and upgraded ahead of its showroom entry next month, with the range being trimmed of most manual variants, receiving a suspension update, connected services and some design tweaks.

The biggest changes are the revised springs and shock absorbers fitted to every variant, with the spring rates being backed off and the dampers scoring “high-response Various Performance Setting” valves – the rears have also been thickened.
Rubber body mounts also contribute to the supposedly improved ride quality, but the GSR goes a step further with Yamaha performance dampers fitted horizontally across the chassis to improve body control, steering response, straight-line stability and reduce NVH.

The GSR is also the first Triton variant to nab Mitsubishi Connect connected services.
No changes have been made to the turbocharged 2.4-litre diesel powertrain (150kW/470Nm) which continues to operate now almost exclusively through a six-speed automatic transmission – there’s only one manual left: the GLX dual cab-chassis 4x4.
Speaking of the GLX, its design and practicality have been enhanced with a black grille, matching mirror caps, and two new dash-mounted cupholders.

Prices for the new Triton have risen incrementally over the previous version, with increases ranging from $100-$1000 depending on the variant (see below).
That said, the ute’s price of entry has risen $2350 with the deletion of most manual variants.
All Tritons are covered by Mitsubishi’s service-dependent 10-year/200,000km warranty.
