Monster Jam returns to Australia with International truck debut

Tickets go on sale now for the Monster Jam 2026 Stadium World Tour, with the world's top drivers and their 5.4-tonne trucks set to hit Melbourne and Sydney this October

The News

Monster Jam is returning to Australia in October 2026, bringing ten world-champion drivers and their 5.4-tonne (12,000-pound) trucks to Melbourne and Sydney for a weekend of racing, stunts and freestyle competition. And it'll be headlined by the international debut of a new monster truck: Power Rush.

The Key Details

  • Melbourne's AAMI Park hosts the tour on Saturday, October 3
  • Sydney's Accor Stadium follows on Saturday, October 10
  • International debut of new truck Power Rush
  • Son-uva Digger returns for the first time since 2025
  • Drivers compete across Racing, Skills and Freestyle for the Event Champion title

The Finer Details

Ten drivers will pilot the Monster Jam fleet across both events, competing in three disciplines – Racing, Skills and Freestyle – with fans scoring the stunts, saves and big-air moments in real time to help crown each event's champion.

The biggest news is the international debut of Power Rush, the newest addition to the fleet. Designed with open-wheel racing in mind, the truck pairs race-inspired handling with a bold new scarlet and checkered-flag livery.

Also returning is Son-uva Digger, the next generation of the Grave Digger lineage, piloted by five-time Monster Jam World Finals champion Ryan Anderson. He joins a driver line-up that includes Grave Digger's Charlie Pauken, Zombie's Bari Musawwir – a two-time world record holder and the 2025 Fan Favourite Driver of the Year.

Lastly, Megalodon's Michael Vaters Jr, a two-time World Finals champion, will also be in Australia for the competitions.

Ahead of each event, fans can get up close to the trucks and drivers at the Monster Jam Pit Party, which includes the JCB Dig Zone and RC Zone, before Monster Jam Trackside runs driver interviews and giveaways in the lead-up to the main event.

The Road Ahead

Melbourne's AAMI Park will host its Pit Party from 8:30am–11:30am, with Monster Jam events at 12:30pm and 6:30pm on October 3.

Sydney's Accor Stadium Pit Party runs 1:30pm–4:30pm on October 10, ahead of a single 6pm event.

General public tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 21, 2026, via monsterjam.com.
