More boot to HSV R8 ute
HSV releases Z2 Maloo R8 featuring restyled rear and show car wheelsHSV is offering a tricked-up version of its Maloo R8 ute. The 'Z2' Maloo R8 features a restyled sail plane and tonneau cover and multi-spoke 19-inch wheels.
HSV says the design cues for the new sail plane, which has a wider profile and now starts as a thicker section close to the cab, and the tonneau cover were taken from the HRT Maloo concept car. The new hard tonneau cover features a double hood extension behind the headrests.
The multi-spoke 19-inch wheels follow a design first seen on the GTS-R show car from 2005.
The Z2 Maloo R8 comes the R8's standard-fit list: traction Control, multi-link independent rear suspension, climate control air-conditioning, cruise control, in-dash six-disc CD changer and full leather trim.
The Z2 Maloo R8 starts at $61,850, while pricing for the recently-upgraded Maloo R8 remains unchanged at $54,990.
