Love cars and not sure what to name your next bundle of joy?

Well, you’ve come to the right place because Scrap Car Comparison has revealed some of the most popular car-inspired baby names in the UK and US, as well as unique options that are starting to gain traction.

In 2022, the most common auto-inspired baby name for boys in the UK was Hudson, followed by Leon, Axel, Austin, and Cooper. For girls, the most common ones included Nova, Alba, Ariya, Elise, and Liana.

In the ‘States, Maverick (boy) was much more popular during the same year, ranking second for boys (after Hudson), while Nova was still the most popular car-related girl name in the US, but Genesis and Octavia ranked second and third.
