Bentley has detailed a long list of new factory accessories that will be available for its recently facelifted Bentayga luxury SUV, including an Akrapovic sports exhaust developed for its Pikes Peak racer.
Developed back in 2018 for the record-setting ascent of the world's most famous hill climb, the new pipes are said to create a 'more exciting' exhaust note.
The full-titanium system replaces the standard central exhaust silencer in Bentley Bentayga V8 with a pair of straight-through pipes that channel exhaust gases more efficiently to a custom rear silencer.
Bentley has not revealed if the new exhaust system brings any power gains, nor how much weight the Akrapovic system saves, but with the average Bentayga tipping the scales at more than 2500kg, any saving will be negligible in performance terms.
For now, Bentley says the lighter, louder sports exhaust is limited to the North American and Middle Eastern markets, and a version is now also available as a dealer-fit option for owners of the original Bentayga W12.
As well as the sports exhaust, four new option packs will also be offered for the refreshed Range Rover rival – named Exterior, Interior, Touring and Protection.
The Exterior pack is said to spice up your Bentayga's styling with gloss carbon-fibre mirror caps, a fixed side step and a gloss black finish instead of chrome detailing.
Inside, the Bentayga can now be equipped with leather cushions, a pair of rear footrests, an even deeper deep-pile carpet and a set of bespoke luggage tailored for whether or not you have clients to impress or are off to enjoy a 'casual weekend away'.
The Touring accessories add further storage options including a roof box, bike rack or ski racking, plus a multi-function boot stowage box that is mounted to the boot floor and can offer secure space for valuables.
The Protection range of extras has been developed for those who actually venture out of the city.
These include heavy-duty interior mats, mud flaps and rear bumper protection designed to prevent scratches and minor damage.
Bentley has yet to release pricing for the new Bentayga accessories, but is expected to do so before the refreshed Bentley Bentayga arrives in the fourth quarter of this year.
