New car price changes

Find out which cars have gone up in price, and which ones are now cheaper
A number of new car price changes have taken effect this month, with moderate price rises of between $200 and $700 for vehicles in the Kia range.
A trio of Great Wall vehicles imported from China have also risen by $1000, with the entry-level V240 4x2 petrol single cab now priced at $18,990 driveaway, while the 4x4 turbo-diesel is now $23,990 drive-away. The X200 small SUV has risen to $27,990.
German city car maker smart, which is still considering whether or not to import the fancy new-generation vehicle that broke cover in July 2014, has dropped the prices of the current models by more than $1000 each.
The smart fortwo Final Edition Cabriolet is now $19,690, a reduction of $1300, while the hard-top coupe version is now $17,710, down by $1280.
Kia meanwhile has set about adjusting prices across roughly half its range, with changes affecting the manufacturer's suggested retail price for Cerato, Grand Carnival, Optima, Rio, Rondo and Soul.
Sedan and hatchback versions of the 2015 Kia Cerato S Premium have risen by $400 to $24,990, while the Si and SLi versions are up $500, to $28,990 and $31,990 respectively. 
The sporty two-door Cerato Koup and Cerato Koup Turbo are up by $200 to $24,190 and $28,190 (manual models). Auto transmissions add $2300 apiece.
Other changes the Korean importer has made to prices include the Grand Carnival, up by between $500 and $700 depending on the model while all three of Kia's medium car variants in the Optima range have increased by $250 to between $31,490 and $40,990.
No less than 12 variants of the Kia Rio light car have been adjusted upwards, by between $500 and $700, while the Rondo people mover sees minor changes of between $200 and $250.
Lastly the Kia Soul has risen in price by $500, making it $24,490 for the manual and $26,490 for the auto model.
Malaysian car maker Proton has slashed the prices on Gen.2 five-door hatch by $1300, or almost 10 per cent on the 1.6 GX model, now $12,990, while the better-equipped GXR is now $14,990.
French car importer Renault has adjusted prices on the majority of its Megane hatch and wagon models, rising by between $500 and $1000, after the introduction of the new entry-level $20,990 Authentique model to the range.
Isuzu has made minor price increases to some of its utes (light commercial vehicles) and lastly, the Bentley Mulsanne super luxury limo (pictured) has increased in price by one whole dollar. The $662,857 price is now $662,858.
