There's a new dealership selling Rolls-Royce motor cars in Australia, and it's based in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond.
As we reported back in November last year, the Zagame Auto Group has been appointed a Rolls-Royce retailer, and is now officially operating out of a new showroom on Swan Street, along with Zagame's other retail outlets.
The new facility is not only the largest Rolls-Royce outlet in Australia, it's also the largest in the Asia/Pacific region other than China.
"Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has recognised the Zagame family's success in Melbourne, an authentic testament to their hard work and meticulous attention to detail in everything they do,” said Ian Grant, Asia/Pacific Regional Sales manager for Rolls-Royce, during the opening ceremony.
"Like Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Zagame Automotive Group strives for excellence and their constant focus is on outstanding customer service. Rolls-Royce is delighted to be partnering this highly regarded luxury retailer here."
The new premises incorporates a bar and café, both delivering 'full service', and a 'Bespoke' lounge catering to customers. Not only are the customers properly looked after, so are the cars, with undercover parking and 15 long-term car storage spaces available and qualified technicians and three dedicated service bays on hand to keep Rolls-Royce customer cars in tip-top condition.
For the opening ceremony a selection of Bespoke-fettled Rolls-Royce Dawn coupes were unveiled, collectively bearing the moniker 'Dawn – Inspired by Fashion'. Three Bespoke cars have been built, all finished in Andalusian White, but with different roof colours: Mugello Red, Cobalto Blue or Mandarin. Each car has been trimmed in Arctic White and Black, but with a coordinating headlining that matched the external roof colour. The car on display in Melbourne featured the Mugello Red roof. Orders for the car in this trim have ceased, making this car unique in the Australian market.
