New HQ for Hyundai
Hyundai has commenced work on a new HQ in SydneyHyundai Motor Company Australia (HMCA) has kicked off its new $70m Australian headquarters and training centre in Macquarie Park in inner north west Sydney.
The purpose-built complex will be completed mid-2008 and will accommodate approximately 250 permanent HMCA employees as well as staff members from Hyundai Steel Co, Hyundai Capital and Glovis Australia – a Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) vehicle logistics subsidiary.
Hyundai says it also considered both Melbourne and Brisbane for its new headquarters.
Steve Yeo, Chief Executive Officer of HMCA said, “Our investment reflects Hyundai’s confidence and continued commitment to our Australian customers, working through over 140 independent Hyundai dealerships across Australia who employ thousands of permanent staff and contractors.”
