The long-awaited successor to the fire-breathing Lexus LFA supercar is locked and loaded for a global reveal on December 5, with the Japanese marque set to unveil its new road-going sports car.
Lexus has confirmed the global unveiling of its follow-up model to the iconic LFA and replacement for the LC will take place this week, alongside Toyota’s latest sports car, the GR GT, and a third mystery model.
Little is known about the LFA’s successor, which has surfaced in a leaked teaser shot by Toyota, ahead of this week’s debut.

The darkened teaser shot reveals two rumps with differing taillight designs, while the third mystery vehicle’s – thought to be Toyota’s new GT3 racer – obscured silhouette is shown with a pair of sharp bonnet vents or fins.
If the Lexus Sport Concept – shown earlier this year at Pebble Beach exotic car fest – is anything to go by, Lexus’ new sports car will get its own intricate air intakes, along with a long, swooping bonnet, aggressive aero, and signature headlight design.

All will be revealed on December 5 when the Japanese carmaker unveils several new sports cars – including the Toyota GR GT – via a live stream, which you can watch here.
