Controversial UK TV show Top Gear has released the first teaser video previewing its new 2016 series, which for the first time won't include former presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond or James May.
Instead, when it airs from May, the Top Gear reboot will be co-hosted by British celebrity Chris Evans, fellow Brit and former F1 team boss Eddie Jordan and US actor Matt LeBlanc.
As the show announced in February, automotive journalist Rory Reid, YouTube star Chris Harris and German racing driver Sabine Schmitz will also assisting in the presenting duties.

While Schmitz has appeared on Top Gear several times previously, Reid was picked from thousands of hopefuls who submitted a 30-second audition tape to Evans, a UK TV presenter who also hosts a popular morning slot on BBC Radio 2.
Unsurprisingly, the first in what will be a series of trailers ahead of the relaunch of the world’s favourite car show next month features "much drifting, lots of tyre smoke" and a host of supercars, including the McLaren 675 LT, Ferrari F12 Tdf and limited-edition Aston Martin Vulcan, the latter doing circle work in the dark at Yas Marina.
Of course, there's also some eclectic machinery like the humble Ariel Nomad and even a pair of Reliant three-wheelers that drive from London to Blackpool, one of them under its own steam.

The highlight of the racy trailer is Chris Evans "having a little moment" following a track session with Schmitz in California.
Although it's not enough to judge the series by, we think it's pretty cool and better than expected in the absence of the infamous Clarkson-Hammond-May chemistry. What do you think?
