A local version of international men's magazine, INTERSECTION, was launched this month at a media function in Sydney, featuring a bevy of models unveiling exclusive car covers for the Alfa Romeo Brera.
The magazine, originally established in the UK seven years ago, is a publication specifically aimed at discerning readers of the heterogametic persuasion -- high-minded blokes, in other words.
Put together by a former contributor to the Carsales Network, Russell Williamson, INTERSECTION provides readers with what PR people might describe as 'an eclectic mix of content from the world of fashion, art and design'. Thankfully, all is not lost... The magazine primarily covers desirable cars, bikes, boats and aircraft, tastefully photographed -- and the fashion bit is sort of a sideline, we think.
So, you miss out on the readers' wives, but do get to lust over the exquisitely hand-crafted cars from northern Italy standing alongside scrawny-but-swathed-in-Dolce-&-Gabbana women you'll never meet on a public thoroughfare in a million years...
The new publication is priced at $9.95 and goes on sale next month -- worth a look even if it doesn't feature pics of B-list starlets in semi-naked poses...
