It feels like we’ve been talking about the upcoming release of the Bond 25 film, No Time To Die for years. From all the sneak peeks of the cars expected in the movie, exciting behind the scenes features from the set in Italy and car brand partnerships announced in the lead-up to the release. Originally pencilled in for April 2020 screenings, not even 007 himself was immune from the effects COVID-19 had on the world and social distancing.
For No Time To Die, the 25th James Bond film, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology. Drastic times calls for drastic measures and the new film does not disappoint in the car stakes for fans.
As well as showcasing Bond’s highly risky manoeuvres off bridges, buildings and metal walkways, we get to see the Aston Martin DB5 back in action with its signature hidden weaponry and gusto. We also get a taste of the new Land Rover Defender’s hard-core off-roading capability which our own team have yet to be able to test fully. Not sure how Land Rover would feel if we rolled their test cars down a hill the same way as they have in the film.
Daniel Craig’s last hurrah as 007 is looking like one of the most action-packed Bond films ever. You can watch the latest trailer for No Time To Die below:
