The new-generation Porsche Cayenne GTS Coupe has been leaked online by a French Instagram user.
According to actu.auto.fr, the latest variant of both the Porsche Cayenne and the more rakish Cayenne Coupe will get the GTS treatment and, unlike the last version, under the bonnet will be a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 in place of the old car's V6 turbo.
With the return of the bent-eight to the GTS, the performance-focussed Cayenne variant will reportedly produce 338kW of power and 620Nm of torque – 14kW and 20Nm up on the current Cayenne GTS.
Combined with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, the sporty Porsche SUV is rumoured to hit 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds – 0.6sec quicker than the old GTS.
Top speed, meanwhile, climbs to 270km/h – 8km/h higher than the former GTS.
Positioned above the Cayenne S but below the Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S, the GTS looks like it will come standard with a Porsche Sports Design package that adds plenty of dark elements to the body.
Interestingly, the Cayenne GTS Coupe also repackages its dual oval exhausts within a rear diffuser.
Inside, Porsche has injected plenty of GTS decals, added Alcantara-clad sport seats and used the same material to wrap the centre console, door cards and headliner, while dashes of red for the stitching and seatbelts brighten things up a little.
According to the French Instagram user, Porsche will price the Cayenne GTS in Europe from €114,087 ($A185,000), while the more rakish Cayenne GTS Coupe will cost €118,490 ($A192,000).
Porsche is expected to officially launch the Cayenne GTS models in the coming weeks.
