New Porsche Panamera leaked

Six covert photos reveal Porsche's second-gen sedan inside and out, plus its new 4.0-litre turbo V8

Just days out from its world debut in Berlin next week, Porsche's second-generation Panamera has been exposed in a series of leaked images published by motor1.com.

Not only do the images offer the best look yet at Porsche's new luxury flagship, but they reveal the top-shelf Panamera Turbo and its all-new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 for the first time.

Also seen for the first time is the evolutionary-looking new Panamera's virtual digital instrument cluster and its spacious new rear seats with colour touch-screen display.

Billed as "the fastest luxury sedan on earth", the new Panamera will be powered by a range of downsized V6 turbo petrol and diesel engines, plus an upgraded plug-in hybrid powertrain.

But it's the new Panamaera Turbo, which will top a line-up due on sale in Australia early next year, that will lay claim to the fastest lap time ever set at Germany's famed 21km Nurburgring road circuit.

The Maserati Quattroporte rival, which will be available in wagon form for the first time, is the first vehicle to be built on Porsche's MSB platform, which will also underpin Bentley's next Continental range.

Stand by for full official details – including Australian pricing and specifications – at 5:15am eastcoast Australian time on June 29.
