Boasting new levels of fuel efficiency, a completely revamped design – both inside and out – more cabin space and more modern equipment, the next-generation Subaru Impreza will be unveiled at the New York International Auto Show in a fortnight's time.
Retaining its celebrated all-wheel drive platform, the 2012 Impreza is said to be more refined that its predecessor with several technological advances aimed at extracting even more efficiency from the car's famed Boxer engine.
"We are very excited about the amazing stylish new Impreza, which will not only broaden Subaru's appeal significantly, but offer a new level of interior quality, technology and the safety for which we're famed," explained Subaru Australia's managing director, Nick Senior.
More images and full specifications of the new car will be released on April 21 with timing for local arrival of the new Impreza yet to be announced.
