The Nissan 370Z Coupe is about to be unleased on Australian roads but if you want all the car's thrills with open air fun then you may want to wait.
Nissan America has taken the wraps off the 370Z Roadster today but Australians will have to wait at least 12 months before it makes it down under (see here).
Featuring the same aggressive new look as the Coupe, the Roadster features a new fabric folding roof. The new roof also includes a larger glass rear window when compared to the 350Z Roadster and a one-touch operation. Taking 20 seconds to complete, the roof can be initiated with the touch of either button located on the dash or one mounted on the door.
The roof stows underneath a body colour hard tonneau cover and a glass wind deflector also raises when the top is down to improve on cabin comfort. Special attention was paid to improving driver and passenger conditions with the roof featuring a fabric inner liner to cut outside noise when the top is closed.
The rest of the car matches the Coupe with the same 3.7-litre V6 engine and choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic gearbox.
Check out our first review of the 370Z Coupe soon.
Australian specifications for the Roadster will be released closer to the car's local launch.
